Apple has brought its contactless payments service to India, initially supporting eligible Axis Bank Visa and Mastercard credit cards. The launch gives iPhone and Apple Watch users another way to pay at compatible terminals, while Apple says additional banks, merchants and apps are expected to join the ecosystem over time.
